Client Agreement
It is my choice to receive massage therapy. I am aware of the benefits and risks of massage and give my consent for massage. I understand that there is no implied or stated guarantee of success of effectiveness of individual techniques or series of appointments. I acknowledge that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, medical examination or diagnosis. I have stated all medical conditions that I am aware of and will inform my practitioner of any changes in my health status.
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing this workshop/training with Massoga® Massage Yoga you agree its owners, teachers and any person employed by Massoga® Massage Yoga is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous, I will be adjusted and massaged, and I voluntarily participate in this with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Massoga® Massage Yoga or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Permission to Practice
By attending this training with Massoga® Massage Yoga you agree that you have been equipped with tools to use in regular yoga practices, massage that you are already qualified to practice and are insured for, and for private at home use. You are entitled to name the Massoga Method as the massage adjusting technique you are applying.
You agree not to imitate or recreate the Massoga Method under this or another name when advertsing classes or workshops.
You agree not to reteach the Massoga® Method to other teachers.
You agree not to host Massoga® Massage Yoga Immersions or workshops.
This training does not enable you to advertise Massoga® Massage Yoga private treatments.
The Massoga® Method is framework and we encourage you to continue to develop your hands on practice by attending trainings in other modalities.
You will receive your certification on completion of work experience at a Massoga® Immersion and attendance as a student at a Massoga® Immersion on the date of your choice.
The hours undertaken at this training can be accrued and included in Yoga Alliance certification if you are already a Yoga Alliance member. If you are not already a member or have not completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, you must complete a total of 50 hours training with Massoga in order to quantify these hours.
