Give your team the opportunity to un-stress mind and body.

Take your team on Retreat!

Our brain and body works better when our

nervous system is well looked after.

THE BENEFITS

Bring you team on retreat with Massoga® and watch your team experience personal growth, the cultural dynamic of your company expand, and greater engagement from each team member which will in turn generate productivity.

Why Retreat?

• Every individual in your team will feel valued and appreciated in ways a pay rise does not do.

• Neuroscience tells us that social safety aka our sense of belonging and identity within a group is one of the most important factors in brain health. Being on retreat with your team creates an opportunity to bond in a way that no other experience can.

• Retreat is an opportunity for personal growth and the expansion in the dynamic of the team.

• Connection is key.  Time away from the office is essential for building stronger relationships amongst the team. People thrive when they feel connected. When people thrive, business thrives.

• A retreat creates the perfect environment for to creatively explore business development ideas.

How does Massoga® work?

Experience the benefits of the Massoga® practice

• Uses massage techniques to relax the physical body and keep participants present and “in the moment”.

• Brings about the Relaxation Response.

• Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System.

• Takes the brain and body into Rest & Digest.

• Draws on Mindfulness practices to help quieten the constant barrage of thoughts.

• Provides tools for stress management useful in every day life at work and at home.

Much like a motor that is idling too high for too long our body and brain cannot withstand the consistent activation of the sympathetic nervous system which is caused by non life threatening things like stressful emails, the constant flow of notifications on our devices, and traffic jams.

Chronic stress contributes to;

- high blood pressure,

- causes brain changes that may contribute to anxiety, depression, and addiction,

- promotes the formation of artery-clogging deposits,

- contributes to obesity, both through direct mechanisms (causing people to eat more) or

indirectly (decreasing sleep and exercise).
